Pictured above is Rascal the "CEO" of MidSouth's Best with our newest staff member, Carolyn French. Carolyn has worked in the area and has sewn most of her 21 years of life. She has been embroidering for about 10 years and has been to many classes and schools. Carolyn loves to play with embroidery of all types, whether it is lace, appliqué, cards, decoupage, quilting, toilet paper, wood, window screen and many more. She also enjoys quilting and sewing. Carolyn has a wonderful husband, Kent and has Rachel, who is her four footed little girl.
Now a little about us......We (Fred and Karen Rouse) bought MidSouth Sewing Center in Murfreesboro, TN, a little over 4 years ago. During that time God blessed us so much we out grew the little store and had to move to a larger location in Murfreesboro. The new store is bigger and better lighting, with a much bigger area to have classes in.
Around the end of April, God decided that we need another store, this one in Knoxville. We have always loved coming to the mountains with friends. We met Carolyn early on in the process and felt she would fit wonderfully in our store family, she passed the Rascal test. God was so good, he already had a wonderful place picked out and we didn't even have to paint or do any build out. The day we open we had around 50 people show up. What a blessing. We have already met many new friends and God is blessing us with His hand. We look forward to many years of friendship in Knoxville.
